Characters can either be your Heroes or Villains depending on how you choose to play.

Each one has their on attributes, powers, special abilities, and perks allowing for a customized play that suits your exact grinding desires.

For example Isabella is primarly a DPS based Magician that can satisfy the requirements of a fast paced player while Kagu-Tsuchi is a one of a kind tank every group needs to take on raid bosses.
